Terms of Service

1. Application

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the conditions of use for the mobile application "Award Certificate Creator" (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

The App provides the following features:

• Creation of digital award certificates
• Multiple certificate templates
• Saving and sharing of created certificates
• Printing of created certificates
• Other related features

3. Fees

The App is free to use. However, any data communication fees incurred when downloading or using the App are borne by the user.

4. Advertisements

The App displays the following types of advertisements via Google AdMob:

• Banner ads (displayed at the bottom of the screen)
• Interstitial ads (full-screen ads displayed at specific moments, such as after creating a certificate)

To ensure a good user experience, interstitial ads are shown at appropriate intervals and limited in frequency per session.

We may not be able to control the content of advertisements. We are not responsible for any issues arising from clicking ads or using third-party services.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not engage in the following actions:

• Create certificates that violate laws or public order and morals
• Infringe third-party intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, etc.)
• Create content that defames, discriminates, or threatens others
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Misuse the App’s functions or attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with the operation of the App
• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise analyze the App
• Collect or store personal information of other users
• Provide benefits to antisocial forces
• Any other acts we deem inappropriate

6. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App and its contents (templates, images, texts, etc.) belong to us or the rightful owners. Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute them without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

We do not warrant, either expressly or implicitly, that the App is free from defects in fact or in law (including, but not limited to, safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, security flaws, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights).

We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by you arising from your use of the App, except in cases of our intentional or grossly negligent acts. However, if the agreement between you and us constitutes a consumer contract as defined by the Consumer Contract Act of Japan, this limitation shall not apply; even in such cases, our liability for damages caused by our negligence (excluding gross negligence) shall be limited to direct and ordinary damages.

We are not responsible for the following:

• Disputes with third parties regarding content created by users
• Content of advertisements or services provided by advertisers
• Device failures or data loss experienced by users

8. Service Suspension

We may suspend the provision of all or part of the App without prior notice in any of the following cases:

• Performing maintenance or updates on the App’s systems
• Inability to provide the App due to force majeure such as earthquake, lightning, fire, or power outage
• Stoppage of computer or communication lines due to an accident
• Other cases where we deem suspension necessary

We shall not be liable for any damages incurred by you due to such suspension.

9. Changes and Termination

We may change the contents of the App or terminate the service without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any damages arising therefrom.

10. Privacy

Handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms as necessary, provided that such changes are in the general interest of users or are reasonable and not contrary to the purpose of these Terms.

In the event of a revision, we will notify you in advance of the revised Terms and the effective date through the App or on our website.

Continued use of the App after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Notices and Communication

Notices from us to you will be made through in-app notifications, postings on our website, or other methods we deem appropriate.

13. Prohibition of Assignment

You may not assign or pledge your status under these Terms, or your rights or obligations under these Terms, to any third party without our prior written consent.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location.
